Regina is a beautiful city, where local owners Dan and Lauren Benesh have been successfully growing their BarterPay franchise for the past 6 years. Barterpay Regina, along with Kim Groff in Saskatoon & Matt Hetherington in Moose Jaw, have clearly been of great benefit to the Saskatchewan economy. They all really appreciated the kind words from the Saskatchewan Legislative Assembly welcoming BarterPay to the province. (see letter below)
BarterPay owners from across Canada gathered together in Regina to continue to develop their skills, build team spirit and share best practices.
From beginning to end the meeting was a fantastic experience.
Thanks to our bartering partners at the Travelodge and Orange Tree Village for providing excellent accommodations, the Conexus Centre for hosting our meetings, Lumberjax for teaching us how to throw an axe (never know when that skill might come in handy...) and Escape Manor for several fantastic escape room adventures.
The food was also excellent with pitas from Extreme Pita, the city's best pizza from Tumbler's, awesome BBQ at Jack Keaton's, and wide variety of pub food at Birmingham's. All finished off with a drink at the Knotted Thistle.
Two of the highlights for me were a message from Darci Lang about focusing on the 90% and spike ball.
Whether you are a BarterPay member or not, we would recommend a trip to Regina!
